Andreas's New Hair Cut!

Potty Training has begun...

of course it is on his terms. We have not pressured him. When he wants to go on the toilet we let him. Over the last couple of days however he has gone poop in the "Big" toilet twice. He goes before he takes a bath. Tonight it was so cute... I was talking with Nermin and he was just about to give Andreas a bath. Andreas comes running up to us saying "Poop...Poop" so we take him to the toilet and this is what you see in the picture above. It was funny because it was like he had held it all day cause there was a lot in the toilet when he was finished. lol. Anyways before we know it he will be out of diapers and able to go "potty" by himself.

Evergreen State Fair


On Sunday, August 27th, we went to the fair in Monroe. We spent all afternoon going through the barns, exhibit, games, and rides. Unfortunately Andreas wasn't tall enough to go on any rides. He had to be 36" tall and he was just a little short, but next year he will be able to go on them. :) So instead of the rides we spent time playing the games and winning prizes. In the picture to the left is Andreas holding a stuffed Monkey that Nermin and him won playing the game in the picture. We also won this huge... I mean huge stuffed dog. It is very cute though. We ate a lot of good food and enjoyed the afternoon. Below is a slideshow of Andreas riding the little tractors. He loved them so much. So we entered to win one for them and they draw the winner on Monday Sept. 4th, I hope we win! We had beautiful weather too.

Visiting Grandma!

Andreas and I went went to visit Grandma Linda on August 17th -19th. We hung out at the farm and Andreas got to swim, ride is bike, and play with Clifford. Then on Friday we went to the Grant County Fair. We went through all of the animal barns and the exhibits. Andreas only wanted to go on one ride once and then he got mad cause the ride he wanted to go on was broken. We tried to cheer him up by going to see the comedy/clown show they had for children, but it didn't work. He was just so tired. Then on Saturday before we left we went and visited with Great Grandma Carlson. Ron and Susi also came to stay the weekend so we got to visit with them shortly before we left to come back to Everett. We had a lot of fun and it was great visiting with everyone.

This is a slide show of when Andreas and I went to Hurt and Heidi's in the beginning of August; when Grandma and Lindsey were visiting. We had a great time. We went to the supermall and did some shopping. We ate lunch at Red Robin and Tiffany was working that day so she was our waitress. Then we had a lovely dinner and visited. Tiffany came out after she got off work. Andreas and I went home that evening, but Grandma and Lindsey left the next morning.

It was really great seeing every one. We will need to do that more often.

My 25th Birthday!

Nermin took me to Wild Waves and Enchanted Forest. It was the first time I had ever been there. It was a lot of fun. We went on all of the rides in the Enchanted forest. A couple of our favorite ones were this one to the left in the picture and the hammer... I think that is what it is called. It was a great ride. Then we went on the wild waves side. The wave pool was cool, but it feels like you have no control once the waves start and the waves push you into other people. Then our favorite water slide was the river with the tubes. You just gradualy float down this river and there are different falls along the way. It was fun. We had a great time and can't wait to go again. Next time we want to take Andreas. He will have a lot of fun.
Then we came back up to Everett and went to a late movie. The picture to the left was the movie we watched, The Descent. It was a good movie, but it was really scary. If you don't like scary don't watch it!

Overall it was a great Birthday!

The first Dentist Appointment!

Andreas had his first dentist appointment today. He didn't really know what to think. I don't know how they think a two year old is going to sit in that chair and wait 20 minutes for the doctor to come and look at his teeth for 2 minutes. The doctor should know that he has a two year old waiting for him and a parent that can't take much more in that enclosed room. :0) Well anyways they said that his teeth look good and that they will see him in six months.

Aunt Pam's House

I was in desperate need of a babysitter on June 25th, because it was Nermin's Birthday. Aunt Pam was kind enough to take Andreas for the night. The next afternoon we went and picked him up and here are some pictures from that day.

The Fourth of July Weekend

We went to Creasent bar and went swimming.

We had a bbq at Grandma Carlson's house and then went back out the the farm (John and Linda House) to watch fireworks.

I had Andreas second birthday party at his Great Grandma Carlson's house. I didn't do anything big. It was just Grandma, Nermin, and Andreas. But I wanted to share with you all some of the pictures that were taken from that day.
